Happy Fat Tuesday!
So for the past few days I’ve had the absolutely most epic experience of my life, Mardi Gras 2012!
Bourbon street was in no way dead or dissatisfying during my time in New Orleans, Louisiana but much alive! Typically as expected the party started and seemingly never ended as the masses continued to pour in as the days progressed.
With music filling our ears and a unforgettable Bourbon Street funk filling our noses. The sight of horse shit, public drunkards, throw up, costumes, beads, drag queens, and titties never looked better.
Aside from the unmentionable activities, I wont speak of, such as the occasional public titty sucking and making out sessions, all standards of class were thrown out the window for a good time in the NOLA.
Between fishbowls, grenades, and hurricanes, king cakes and chicken on a stick seemed like the only cure to the multiple hangovers dissed out during the week long celebration.
As parades stormed thru the streets of New Orleans and beads and coins fell from the sky like rain, the experience I had was beyond my greatest expectations. Although some scars still remain visible from hurricanes of years past, the pride of the New Orleans people shined 10 times greater as they greeted each tourist with a good time, smile, and a Cajun enunciation of Baaaayyyyy-Bae! I think I’ve found a home away from home.
HAPPY MARDI GRAS tumblr and please, please, PLEASE party with the good people of New Orleans next year! I know I will!
I’ve Been Gone!
I’ve been gone for awhile but im finally back. Sorry for not really posting I’ve been undergoing a personal journey to find my self. Over my time gone, I’ve lost a lot of followers but I’ve also maintained a decent amount and I thank all of you. Just to let everyone know, my blog originally began as a music blog and I will be returning to my roots because that’s what gained me the most followers.
